See the AquaMaster PRO Difference
It’s important to understand that a water softener uses water and salt to regenerate (clean itself). But all water softeners are not created equal. We encourage you to do your homework and ask the questions. In comparison, you will find that AquaMaster® PRO is highly water and salt efficient.
The number of grains of hardness removed between each regeneration is NOT the maximum capacity of the water softener. It is a factory setting, or a setting done at installation, that is most likely the most efficient setting for your water softener.
Ask the following questions:
How much water does the softener use per regeneration on average?
How much salt does it use per regeneration on average?
How much time does it take to regenerate on average?
How many grains of hardness are removed between each regeneration?
We know it can be difficult to get these numbers from some companies. However buying a water softener without knowing this information would be equivalent to buying a car without knowing its gas mileage performance. If the company doesn’t know, or won’t give you the information you’re asking for, it’s likely that the numbers aren’t good and performance is poor.
